Terror of the Night Mare Her innocent eyes blinked wonderingly upon the desolate landscape she found herself standing upon. She looked about her and saw nothing but the gray, hazy plain. She thought that perhaps she saw a withered old tree in the distance. And perhaps there was rocky hill as well but there was no life, no discernible sound that the young maiden could make out.

Still mildly disoriented, she had not fully gripped the extent of her situation. She was utterly alone and no help could come to her. However, after a few moments, the fog lifted from her brain and fear mixed with desperation began to claw its way up her spine. Just as the fear began to take aTerror of the Night Mare by ~Megami-kun

This will be my final entry for this diary. Partly because I have finally run out of room and partly because there are plans to take my leave of this world. I have, at last, found an exit to this long and winding maze which we call life. Perhaps it is wrong of me to say "we"? After all, I cannot really be considered precisely human can I?

If anyone finds this diary, one of two things will happen. One, it will be read and then thrown away as rubbish; or two, it may be published under "fiction" as one of those mainstream "vampire stories". I do plan to leave this journal where it may be Note of a Nosferatu by ~Megami-kun
Waking Dream      Imagine this: it is a beautiful, clear day in early summer and you are on the beach. Or should I say that I am on the beach? Yes, I am on the beach at the ocean. I feel the pure, white sand beneath my feet and seeping between my toes as I walk along the water's edge. The waves come to greet me but somehow are not able to get close enough. The ocean is such a deep and beautifully vast blue that it takes my breath away. I stop and bend down to pick up a handful of the warm, dry sand. Watching as it runs through my small, bony fingers I see how it sparkles in the sunlight like glitter. I feel a tugging sensation on my wrist and I turn. It'sWaking Dream by ~Megami-kun

The Homebody Morpheus, king of dreams,
Why do you hide from her?
Giver her a sleep,
So sweet I beg.
Take her away,
Away from the noise
From the city,
From the lights,
From the pollution,
That surrounds her,
Suffocating her.
A sleep that takes her
Back to her home,
Back to the country
Where nature,
Sings gentle lullabies.

Dreamer of all dreams,
Why can she not find you?
So easily did you cross paths
In what seems ages long ago.
She has lost the sweet silence,
Of a childhood of peace.
Bring to her quiet rest,
Showing sweet memories,
Of the home that was lost
To visit once more.

God of the dream world,
Send her respite,

Summer Longing When will summer come?
I long to feel the warm rays,
Of the bright star,
That binds the universe together,
Upon my protected face.

When will the days of leisure be here?
I long to smell the salty air,
Of the cool ocean's edge,
That encompasses most of the thing,
Upon which we reside.

When will the time arrive?
I long to taste the frozen sweetness,
Of the flavored iced cream,
That slowly melts down,
Upon my hand.

'tween the two
celestial systems,
she shines,
troubled...twinkling.

Delight
Amnesty
Acceptance.

Alienation
Despair
Discord.

Even you have a limit.

Ruler of Chaos,
Your dark twin,
She calls to you.

Shut out her dark whispers,
Shut out the provocations.

Chaos continues to live,

Frustration is burned in secrecy.

Unconscious thoughts are given form
In your realm they’re under your care
Yet have power over you,
When the last dreamer is gone
So will you be gone too.

And climbing as high as I dare,
How I wish I really could.
Yet reservations are holding me down

Destiny First of the Endless,
Aged and blind
Chained to your tome,
You turn the pages one by one
Unable to prevent what is writ.
You walk the paths in your garden
Passing the stone statues of younger siblings
Who seem more free, more powerful,
But you hold their fates too
You hold the fate of all,
The fate of Death herself even
In silence, alone,
The fate of all existence

Desolation of a Heart Many a year has drifted into the past,
Yet your presence hasn't entered my world,
Time would never seem so fast,
If ever round my heart thy fingers curled.
The love of friends and family I have aplenty,
An eternal love is what I secretly seek,
To fill the soul's space that cries out "empty",
Searching for someone of whom mere thoughts make knees weak.
I quest not for a fairy tale romance,
Sitting in wait for a knight in shining armor,
Or being swept away after one ballroom dance,
No, I will do my share in the search for true amour.
To see your face I vow,

Death Endless,
Dark is your appearance,

Till Death Do Us Part Hello? My name is Eva. I’m dead. Please, don’t run away. Will you hear my story? Will you hear the story of a married woman tragically murdered on her wedding day? You have probably heard this story before somewhere. It does seem kind of cliché, doesn’t it? Anyway, since you haven’t run off yet I am assuming you are willing to listen. Okay. Here goes…

That it can’t be so easily defined.
It all depends on what they are wanting;
Satisfied, they are happy and aligned.
One object can bring about only pain
But to someone else it can bring great joy.

Piece of Mind Sleep,
In sleep I can dream
I could become anything

I could fly
I could live out unfulfilled passions;
The sky is not the limit,
In daydreams.
A dream,

Controlled by my subconscious

I can't direct the dream
