Sleep peacefully sweet child, sleep deep dear one. I come bearing the answers to your dreams. So wake not until after I am gone, And you will see Aurora's star that gleams. A creature of Faerie, who loves the night. A collector of glimmering pearls, The unwanted gems of children so bright, To do with them as I please, boys and girls. Compensation will never be forgot. When you wake, just look beneath your pillow, You will see your discarded gems are bought, And I have fled from your open window. Forget me not or I will disappear, If innocence be retained, I'll be near. Tooth Fairy
